About my work

My work is characterized by a cinematic atmosphere and an openness to interpretation. Through a layered image structure and the use of chiaroscuro, a tension between light and dark is created.
Classical masters, such as Johannes Vermeer, are a lasting source of inspiration. In that light, I made a study replica of "Girl with a Pearl Earring" — a tribute to technique, light, and stillness.
